CRADLE TO CRADLE & Energy
A sustainable energy supply requires more than just switching to renewable sources—it requires systemic thinking and new forms of cooperation. The “Cradle to Cradle & Energy” project brings together experts from business, politics, local government, and research to tap into the potential of the Cradle to Cradle circular economy in the areas of electricity, heating, and transportation. Three roundtable discussions and in-depth interviews will result in concrete recommendations for action, which will be compiled in a practice-oriented publication and presented at the Cradle to Cradle Congress 2026. The aim is to strengthen knowledge, provide cross-sector impetus, and actively shape social change. The project thus ties in directly with the E.ON Foundation’s key topics: it promotes sustainable innovation, social participation, and a resilient energy future.
